stuff is cool...whenever, whatever it is.

I suck in terms of consistent postings and to all that read or reference the blog & still email me to keep it going thank you and sorry at the same time... I`m still head above water currently. no worries. just timing.

so its damn cold outside and I`ve got a good reason to sit down and share via the blog again + a new thinking on certain issues and items. so I dont want to promise anything but there will probably be more posts... of all sorts of stuff.

if I had a Shop... I would sell these umbrellas

I am preparing for a final research and development this year on my shop idea and one area is the kinds of products I would sell in the shop.

I think one main factor for me when buying something of good qualilty is the craftmenship gone into the making of the item. Secondly it is where it is made that pulls a chord with me. Thoughts on the reflection of;materails, style, and history behind the work to get it done. This always leads to the interest as well as the people who are behind the work.

This video caught my eye as its the kind of product I would want to sell in my shop. Along with;other worldly and Canadian made qualilty crafted products. Things built to perform and last - by a human hand.

heatwave and hard rain

today we might hit record temps in GMA and I could not be happier.must be the Brazil in me.
although it appears to be muggy, grey and possible explosions in the sky kind of day as I sip my morning brew and observe. With that these songs come to mind and should be shared, I figured cause we are all sharing the heatwave together and what will come after the heatwave...

know a good date place.

Even though I`m not on the dating scene I still think its nice to play date and take your lady somewhere not fancy but nice so that the enjoyment of being there and together and out and about. If you are on the dating prowl then this post is worthy of a note taken for future use.

On a snowy day yesterday I attempted to do so last night at a mile end resto that is just lovely and at the same time affordable and cool. The idea was a warm up, beer , and snack. - The bar was perfect and close enough to sit warm up together, sip a local brew and share apps and be close and friendly.

what we got:

The chirizo pogos were great! and served with a mustard that was perfect for it. If you do dinner here there is plenty of good  - not messing apps -  & meals with good meat.

The salad and goat cheese needed to be split by two as it was a very good portion! There is a few fish and veggie options for the gal or pal that only eats green. Either way the wine and beer prices are fair enough as well and the decor makes you feel like home.

I could have easily had a another beer and ordered the mac n cheese and stayed in from the cold winter weather outside.. the decor feels like a log cabin up north and with cozy buzz of clients and staff.. surely worthy of a date or someone you fancy. Located on Benard street just west of busy Parc avenue and currently surround by sapins de noel it was a lovely break on a snowy day. Merry Christmas.
