Montreal-based artist Daniel Barrow uses obsolete technologies to present written, pictorial, and cinematic narratives centering on the practices of drawing and collecting. On Thursday February 24th at 7 pm @ D&Q he will be presenting a slideshow and giving a short artist’s talk, after which he will sign books. Its is to promote his first major publication No One Helped Me.

its a full-colour, hardcover book that provides documentation for his performance pieces, a catalogue of his recent drawings, a READ & LISTEN story complete with a 7” record and original essays by Jon Davies and Steven Matijcio.
